A while ago I noticed that the McDouble took the place of the Double Cheeseburger on the $1.39 value menu at McDonald’s. The McDouble is basically the same burger, it just has one less slice of cheese. I think if you’re going to call a burger “The McDouble”, you’d better have some shredded lettuce on there. The name doesn’t fit the burger. [E.D. If you want them to put lettuce on your burger, just ask them.]

The Science world has gone apeshit over the recent announcement that Canada’s top party bands are assembling on Saturday the 26th of September for a rock and roll party at the Tranzac music club. The Cash Grabs will be joined on their Canadian tour by Fashion Tips, Toronto’s best band, as well as several mystery bands. The local university dean has issued the following warning:
“This level of party has, frankly, got me very concerned about the well being of any calm and reserved individual. These bands, as is ordinarily the case, should be restricted to atleast different time zones, if not meridians. Nevertheless forces of Rock and Roll have somehow resulted in this merging. Do not attend this show, I repeat: DO NOT ATTEND THIS SHOW!”
At this time the dean was mauled by three dogs wearing sunglasses.
However those of you unmoved by the warning of science are encouraged to attend this historic event at the Tranzac (back room) on the 26th of September. Doors open at 8:00 and the music starts at 8:30. Admission is $8 or $6 for members.
